Sketching as a tool of expression, description and exploration has been developed for years in the history of architecture, and can be used as a source of inspiration for the creative process and especially for the design process. Perseverance in this process in the sketchbook realm, not necessarily as a graphic expression, can offer a systematic and methodical alternative to conceptual development. If the process is accompanied with a thorough reading of architectural manifesto the result can be not just a collection of shapes and color but also architectural product.
